Group Tours at Chrisholm Historic Farmstead

Schedule a Group Tour with a docent from the Friends of Chrisholm to receive a guided tour of the Augspurger house and gardens. Learn the fascinating and thought-provoking story of the historic Amish Mennonite settlement of Butler County, established in 1819 by Christian Augspurger, that grew through the 1800’s to include farming across five townships. Discover the notables who impacted the community and those who went on to greater heights. Why do we no longer see Amish buggies in Butler County? Learn what became of the community.
